During World War II Japan had prepared to invade many countries and Australia was the main prize. Because of this Australia had the 'honour' to have its own currency created for her by the Japanese Government.

really cool story.. similar to the anecdote in "the war" where the german soldier knew every thing about his american captor's home town. he had been preparing for the administration of america.. whew.. we dodged a few bullets there..
